"Thyroid conditions are rampant among women because most women never vocalize the shame and pain of their lives." NO! Thyroid conditions are rampant due to factors including over-reliance on soy as health food; contaminated water; genetic history of thyroid conditions; changes in hormonal balance following childbirth or menopause; and of course because thyroid hormone replacement therapy must be continued throughout life, not stopped when symptoms seem to fade. How can an intelligent, wealthy thyroid patient (e.g. Oprah) fail to know this?TAGS
