Cycling enthusiasts and fans are invited to participate in "Breakaway Ride presented by Specialized,” two riding events held in conjunction with the upcoming 2010 Amgen Tour of California professional cycling race set for May 16-23, 2010. Both rides will be held in April 2010 to raise funds for Amgen's Breakaway from Cancer® initiative, which aims to raise awareness of the continuum of resources available from prevention to education, and patient care to advocacy and financial support. The Breakaway from Cancer nonprofit partners include the Prevent Cancer Foundation, Cancer Support Community, Patient Advocate Foundation and National Coalition for Cancer Survivorship.TAGS
