The Occupy Wall Street movement is a series of revolutions across the globe that are mostly classified as non-vilont protests and riots. The Arab spring was the insperation for the occupy movement. Begining with the Tunsisan revolution of 2010-11, the Arab spring has been a wide spread revouution across the Middle East and North Africa. The occupy movement began on september 17, 2011 with hundreds of protesters occupying a smal park near the wall street financal district. since then thousands of protest have occured in nearly 100 countries and over 1000 cities worldwide. The main reasons behind this movement are coruptions in government and wealth inequilaty. The movement has also allowed socalism and communism to gain some poulatity is some parts of the world because to movement is seen as a fight between corrupt capitalist systems and their workers. Most recently, Italy began move vilont protest agianst the wealthier class.

How can we build another world and system which is not based on exponential growth and which is more sustainable? This is the only question we want to find an answer to.
